Access to SSAA Newcastle Range

Unfortunately, East Seaham Road continues to be closed at the Northern End (Close to the Bucketts Way or Limburners Creek Road), following the floods in May this year.

Vehicles cannot get access to East Seaham Road from the Northern End AT ALL.

There are considerable road works being undertaken on the road, which means access to the range needs to be from the Southern End of East Seaham Road (Nearest to Italia Road or Seaham Shop for those who have been before).

DO NOT BE CONFUSED when approaching the intersection of East Seaham Road and Italia Road due to the sign board stating the road is closed. Simply drive around the sign, the road is fine through to the front gate of the range (Some nasty potholes but safe to pass in any vehicle if driven with caution).

Attached is a picture of the large sign at the intersection with Italia Road, simply drive to the right-hand side to get around the sign, return to the left-hand edge to avoid oncoming traffic, and continue on to the range facility.
